Popcorn 5000 5K Run

a TAC Certified event, will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011.  Information is available on line at www.popcornfestival.com and registration forms are available on line at www.premierraces.com.  Contact Tammy Shirk at 740-387-4519 after 6:00 p.m. for additional information. 

Popcorn 100 Bicycle Tour

Corn Hole Classic

The tournament is being held on Saturday, September 10, 2011.   Registration is between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 pm. on the day of the event.  Play starts at 12:00 noon.  Each team is guaranteed four games.  Format is double elimination and each round is best 2 of 3 games.   Entry cost is $30.00 per team.  For more information call Karen Gillespie  740-225-1031   This event is sponsored by Logan Tire.

Bike Night
Thursday September 8th 6:15PM at the Main Stage with the Riot Act and then the Vicious Cycle a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band at 8:30PM. Bikes meet at Ralphies at 5PM and will receive an escort to downtown main stage.  Supervised bike parking by main stage.  No cover charge, door prizes.  BIKE NITE PAGE
Popcorn Bowl "Marion Midget Football"
MARION, OH – The Marion Midget Football Popcorn Bowl has been set for Sunday, September 11th, at Lincoln Park.  The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. Midget football players will play against each other in four games.  The teams’ cheerleaders will entertain the audience with a production number. Senior Rest Area

Fine Arts Juried Show and Sale

Miss Marion Popcorn Festival Scholarship Pageant

Popcorn Festival Raffle

The 2011 Raffle consists of two separate raffles.  Raffle tickets are currently available and will be available through out the three day event.  Buyers will have a chance to win their choice of a new Harley-Davidson XL883 Sportster or a Honda TRX420 Sport Utility ATV.  Tickets are $10.00 each or 3 for $20.00. 

Miss Teen Popcorn Pageant 2011

Popcorn Festival Theme Committee

Popcorn Golf Outing 2011

The 2011 Marion Popcorn Festival Golf Outing will be on June, 11, 2011, at Kings Mill Golf Course. It is a four person scramble with a shot gun start at 8 AM Registration 7 AM Co-ed teams are welcome.  Early register by May 28, 2011 and pay an entry fee of $50 per player which includes your green fees and dinner consisting of brats, hamburgers, 2 sides, ice tea, lemonade, and Cash Bar. 49-Plus Softball Tournament

Popcorn Cooking Contest
For more information contact Mary Longo, she can be reached at 740-223-4040, or through the Ohio State University Extension Office.  The Marion Popcorn Festival’s Recipe Contest will pop to the forefront once again.  Judging will take place on Thursday, September 9, at the Marion Popcorn Festival.  More Information HERE

The 1st Annual Kiddie & Adult Pedal Tractor Pulls
will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in downtown Marion.  Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. with the pulling event starting at 2:00 p.m.     No registration fees are required.  Pullers will be divided by age group, ages 3-12, with trophies being awarded to the top two finishers in each age category.  Each puller will receive a ribbon for participating.  Adults can participate for fun and bragging rights.  Hard soled shoes must be worn.
