Be part of our 1st  annual
Poppin’ Pooch Pageant!!

Contestants will be divided into “age” groups
from puppy to oldest and will be judged in the following areas:

¨ Swimsuit or Show your  Team Spirit

     Swimsuit is beachwear etc. and Team Spirit is your favorite team, be it

High School, College or Pro.

Creative use of popcorn and/or festival theme will be

awarded extra bonus points!

¨ “Stupid Pet Tricks”  (talent)

     Judges will be scoring primarily  on originality and audience appeal. Your  pet

      does not have to possess great talent! We are looking for the AVERAGE dog

      with an owner that can win over the audience  and judges with ingenuity,              

      creativity and imagination . Real talent is ‘optional’!!

¨   Formalwear or “Dress for Success” (Modeling)

       Dress ‘em  up and bring it on!! Again, use your imagination and create a

        look all your own! You will be onstage with your pet at all times so don’t

        forget to ‘dress for success’ yourself!! 

REMEMBER...creative use of popcorn and
Popcorn Festival Theme on
Pets AND ‘Escorts’ will garner extra points in  judging!!

¨ For those interested in learning more about the Poppin’ Pooch Pageant, there will be an  informational meeting at the Marion Public Library 2nd floor meeting room on Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30pm. Bring your questions and   concerns, but PLEASE do not  bring your pet!! You will hear a detailed        explanation of  categories and receive suggestions to make the pageant a great success for you AND your pet!
